Thank you to all who joined us for Dr Robin's Presidential address, the LSA's AGM, and the dinner afterwards, we had a brilliant turnout at the LMI.
The proposed new constitution was passed, and has been updated on our website. Thank you very much to Dr Matt Stott for all of his work as the LSA treasurer over the last few years, he has handed the baton over to Dr Matt Bridge. Dr Richard Craig has been voted in as the president elect, we look forward to his insight on the committee over the next year prior to taking over the presidency.
We were enthralled by Dr Robin's anecdotes of sailing journeys over the years, alongside the life and career lessons that she has learnt along the way. Who knew that sailing and anaesthesia had so much in common?! It was a poignant reminder for us all to sail our own path in life, to keep our anchors close and to make time for what brings us joy. Thank you to Dr Robin for not only a fantastic talk, but also for her incredible hard work for the society during the first year of her Presidency.
