Insights from a Coroner
How to communicate concepts from anaesthesia and intensive care in the coronial process
We are delighted to have Mrs Elizabeth Wheeler, the Area Coroner for the Sefton, St Helens & Knowsley Coroner Area, talk to us on Tuesday 17th November 2026. We look forward to hearing all about how to communicate in the court room, and learn some lessons from her experiences. She has been described as having excellent communication skills in being able to simultaneously support both the family and medical witnesses during a highly emotional and stressful time.
This evening meeting will be held at the Liverpool Medical Institution. We will start with the reception and drinks at 18:30. We look forward to seeing you there. We would love for you to stay and join us for dinner afterwards, there will be a nominal fee payable at booking or on the day for dinner.
