Dr Pat Mullen looking very pleased wuith himself after an excellent Presidential address, now hoping that the society can afford the paint for his name to go on the board behind him.

During the AGM, it was announced that Dr Hefin Llewellyn (above) would become the first LSA Leadership Fellow. He's in ST5 of the Mersey Anaesthesia Training Programme and his principle task will be to bring the averaage age of the audience at meetings to below 70 - a not insignificant challenge. Clearly from the look on his face, he thinks that it's going to be very easy...
