Past Presidents

Thank you for visiting our website. It is a great honour and privilege to be the President of the Liverpool Society of Anaesthetists. I follow great names and leaders of anaesthesia in this office. Many of these leaders have had a national and international anaesthesia pedigree and I have had the privilege of working and interacting with many of these trailblazers during my training in Mersey and as a consultant at the Liverpool Women’s and Royal Liverpool University and Broadgreen Hospitals.

The LSA is for all grades of anaesthetists from all over Merseyside, Cheshire and North Wales. There are monthly meetings through the winter and spring which provide informative and entertaining speakers on all aspects of anaesthetic practice as well as a social forum for all anaesthetists both working and retired. I have been attending these meetings since I was an SHO and have found it a great forum for getting to know colleagues from round the region.

In the light of the current hectic pace of life with work and family commitments, this relaxed forum enables colleagues to keep in touch and share ideas over a sumptuous dinner.  The society has a long and rich history and I would like to invite you to be a part of its future.
