We had a fantastic turnout for our joint meeting with the LMI, for the first time we sold out of dinner tickets! Everyone was entertained by Mr Andrew Kinshuck, a consultant ENT surgeon from Liverpool University Hospitals, with his talk on the shared airway, reconstruction challenges and vocal outcomes post-surgery. Including the challenges faced by equine vets, we were impressed by their continuous laryngoscopy set up! The cases discussed provided good learning points for us all both in anaesthesia and intensive care medicine - voice, airway, swallow.
