You can find details of where and when meetings are held and what they are about. The next meeting is a joint meeting with the Liverpool Medical Institution. It is entitled ‘Physiology at the Extreme – The Xtreme Everest Expedition’, with the guest speaker Dr Mike Grocott, Senior Lecturer and Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine, University College London. It will be held on Thursday, the 15th of January 2009, at the Liverpool Medical Institution at 7pm .
The Society was founded in 1930, two years before the Association of Anaesthetists and its motto ‘Dilectis Somnum’ means prized, beloved or delightful sleep.
We hope you will come back to the site regularly but more importantly come to the meetings and meet with friends and colleagues from around the region. While you are here, why not join the society?
