Brigadier Hodgetts is a consultant in Emergency Medicine by training having served in HM Forces for over 30 years. With his experience of having served on operations as a practising physician in hospitals in Northern Ireland, Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan, he has driven many changes in practice transforming the early management of combat trauma from the point of injury to the field hospital. About the society...

The Society was founded in 1930, two years before the Association of Anaesthetists and its motto ‘Dilectis Somnum’ means prized, beloved or delightful sleep.

We hope you will come back to the site regularly but more importantly come to the meetings and meet with friends and colleagues from around the region. While you are here, why not join the society?
