'Innovating at Pace: An Integrated Approach'
Brigadier Tim Hodgetts, Medical Director, Joint Medical Command, UK Defence Medical Services
Brigadier Hodgetts is a consultant in Emergency Medicine by training having served in HM Forces for over 30 years. With his experience of having served on operations as a practising physician in hospitals in Northern Ireland, Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan, he has driven many changes in practice transforming the early management of combat trauma from the point of injury to the field hospital. His talk will give us an insight into the origin of some of his ideas, their adoption into practice and how obstructions can occur and be overcome ultimately leading to their further translation into other sectors of healthcare.
